Myrtle Beach Vacation

We just got back from spending 7 days in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was beautiful weather and surroundings, and A LOT of fun. On the other hand, I almost need a vacation from my vacation. Traveling 20 hours to and from in a car with two little girls was a lot of work.
Once we were there, we were sharing one house with 23 other Wallace family members. It was quite hectic, but was a lot of fun too. We were just a few minutes from the beach and we went there every day. Alyssa LOVED being at the beach and was obsessed with boogie boarding in the ocean with her daddy.
Bella and I hung out on the beach and played in the shallow water while watching Alyssa and daddy getting rocked around by waves. At first I was worried with Alyssa out there, but she wasn't scared a bit. We could barely get her out of the water. We went shopping at the outlet malls. They were awesome! The Wallace family enjoys singing karaoke and his sister had a set up in her house for it, so we all sat around singing karaoke together one night. It was pretty hilarious. On the 4th of July we enjoyed a delicious BBQ and then went over to the river for a fireworks show that was out of this world! Alyssa had a blast watching it!
Now that we are back to work and back in our simple life in Oklahoma, the beach is just a memory, but what a great memory it is to have!
