Hello. Goodbye.

Today I got a chance to say hello to an old acquiantaince. I was wondering when you would show up? I am not going to say an you are a friend, because I really don't consider ours one of those kind of relationships.

Hello to Tulsa's hot and humid summer weather.
Goodbye to the cool sunny breezes of a short lived springtime.

Hello to jumping from one air conditioned place to another air conditioned place.
Goodbye to enjoying sitting on my lovely porch and watching the kids play.

Hello to my husband doing all the yard work.
Goodbye to me doing any yardwork, except for the watering. (that one I'm not that sad about)

Hello to cold water activities, such as: splash parks, swimming pools, and running in sprinklers.
Goodbye to hot baths. Yuck! I hate hot baths in the summer.

Hello to snow cone stands, Jamba Juice, and Sonic drive thrus around the area. I'm sure we will visit almost daily. YUMMY!
Goodbye to QT hot chocolate that I normally get almost every time I fill up with gas in the cold weather months.

Goodbye to washing my hair every other day and saving on time.
Hello to showering and washing twice a day because I sweat just walking outside to get my mail!

I sure hope I can make it 10 more weeks in this weather! Today I had to stick my head inside the freezer just to cool down after being outside in the yard. YUCK! Have I mentioned how I hate the summer here???
