Summer has been a lot of fun this year. It is the first summer that I didn't have to get up and leave my home everyday and go off to work, and with Bella adding to the mix, it has been a busy and fun summer. Alyssa took swimming lessons, which she has LOVED, we have had BBQ's, play dates at the different parks around town, swimming with friends, going to the library, shopping, going to the aquarium, and went to Georgia and South Carolina and spent time on the beach. We have been so busy that I can't believe that it is almost August and school will be resuming soon.
We still have a couple other fun trips planned as a family this Fall. August 15, our niece Jessica is getting married in Nauvoo, Illinois. So we are driving over there for the weekend. Also on Labor Day weekend we are taking a trip over to Branson, Missouri to stay in a beautiful resort that is nestled in the mountains. It is a very family fun resort, and we are so excited to go there together.
We have been busy trying to still sell our house. I think we have figured out what we want to do as far as where we want to move next, but nothing can happen until we have a contract on our house. We have begun doing landscaping in the front yard and we are listing it on the MLS online to help draw more serious buyers in. Hopefully we can sell it before the end of August.

That is just a little of how the Wallace's have been spending their summer. How have your summer's been?

I like the pictures. The one with Alyssa and Janie cracks me up! I'm not sure where that face started coming from, but I have at least half a dozen like that!

I think I might start the garage sale on Friday... that might be a little too ambitious, but that is my goal as of today. You can bring things Thurs night, Friday morning or anytime that day, or just wait until Sat morning. Just let me know.

By the way, I tagged you on my blog. Enjoy!
